Grandmaster Gary Deaver has been training in the martial arts since 1985 and has been teaching since 1990.  He currently holds a 9th Degree Black Belt (Grandmaster) in Kajukenbo Karate and a 5th Degree Black Belt in Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Jujitsu.

He first opened his school in 1992 before moving to Texas.  CKS Martial Arts was founded in January, 2020.

He has taught seminars in various venues over the years, which include:  churches, schools, professional offices and medical organizations and has conducted women's self-defense seminars throughout the years.
